Ah, the #1 pastime activity during the Two Week Wait (TWW): symptom spotting. We’ve all been there. We secretly KNOW it’s useless, but we do it anyway. And if not, you just haven’t been TTC-ing long enough :)!

Pregnant vs PMS symptoms

⁣⁣⁣These symptoms are all due to that lovely luteal phase hormone called “Progesterone”. It rises after ovulation and drops right before you get your period. ⁣⁣⁣⁣Bloating, breast tenderness, headaches, fatigue, a change in appetite, nausea… all those lovely things can be attributed to Progesterone.⁣⁣⁣

But let’s not hate on Progesterone too much, we still need it. You wouldn’t be able to get or stay pregnant without it! But still; it’s extremely frustrating that you can’t tell if you’re pregnant or not, based on these symptoms!⁣⁣⁣
