hi there!

I’m Katelyn.

I’m a mom, wife, and a scientist with a passion for fertility and fertility research.

Trying to conceive can be really, really stressful, especially if things don’t seem to be going according to plan. I teach future-parents how they can increase their chances of getting pregnant with science in mind and kindness at heart.

TTC Quiz

TTC Quiz

Think you know all there is about fertility and how to get pregnant?

Take this quick 8-question quiz.

I’d be surprised if you can even answer half of them correctly! But go on, surprise me 😉

Less than 13% of women can correctly identify their ovulation day. Don’t be like them!

Ovulation Predictor Kits (OPK)

Once your OPK strip turns positive, ovulation is probably in the next 12-36  hours.  They give you results in minutes and OPKs are cheap!

Cervical Mucus (CM)

Notice your cervical mucus changing from dry or sticky, to wet and stretchy? That means you’re entering your fertile window!

Basal Body Temperature (BBT)

After ovulation, your temperature goes up, and stays up until you get your period. It’s a great way to check if you’ve ovulated.

Bet you didn’t know that…

  • You’re slightly more likely to ovulate from the right ovary than the left ovary
  • Charting your body temperature can not just tell you if you’ve ovulated, but also if you’re pregnant or not.
  • Olive oil is one of the worst lubricants to use when you’re trying to conceive.
